Original fixed (new pictures)
Hello
I finally got my original running this week. The steering column was shot so I couldn't run it for a couple of months. But now it's all running in good order. I bought this one for about $175 about 20 miles away. The previous owner found it halfway buried in the ground (the spindles will need work). I got it in BARELY running order. It needed a gas tank repair, a rewire (wires from a washing machine), wheel bushings, a carb clean and now it runs like a champ. Serial number 47348 which I think makes it a "62 (correct me if I'm wrong). I am a proud owner of an IH Cub! (and I do love my white walls)
Yes I need an oil bath air cleaner. It is the correct engine. Someone before changed to a paper.
Had to get a little scenic...
I need more Cubs.. Don't you think?
When you put a Deere fan(my brother) and a cub fan in the same shed.. i sure hope the 140s jealous of my cubby!
