Got some work done on the 1772.
Gear reduction starter is installed;
As is the mini alternator;
It has been a real pain to get this thing to start, the next day after the starter was installed, it would not fire up at all. I pulled the fuel line at the filter head, and energized to pump, fuel was coming out, but the flow was low. I pulled the tank and found the feed line was kinked. New lines will be installed.
I made new battery cables from 0 gauge wire and have to tidy the wiring back up.
The drive shaft removal was fun,

. I need to pick up a replacement alternator / water pump belt, a new fan belt and new fuel lines.
The one snag I see is the 1864 drive shaft I bought, does not have a fan with it. If the one off of the 1772 will not work, I may need to source a fan. Other than that it will be going back together.
I did pick up a cat "0" rear blade off of CL for it. I did not take any pictures of that.
