It has been pouring rain here for the better of like 3 days. I think we've gotten somewhere in the neighborhood of 7". One of the drivers today was, in his own description, trying to avoid the "potholes" in the road when he ran off the edge at a very bad spot. Right between two ponds, where the embankment was very steep. Hope I'm not breaking any rules (of my company) posting this, but I had to share. It was an "eventful" afternoon.
On a separate note, I am looking forward to the bill for a winch truck, backhoe and the crane that I (glad it's not "me" paying) had to hire, and repair of the yard and private drive..... I'm sure it will be more than that particular customer will ever make us.... in 100 years.
