I assume that you plan to eliminate the standard Ignition Switch with your plan.



Problem is.....that the Charging Circuit is wired through the Ignition Switch and is turned on/off with this switch.

Now you can do what you are planning, but extra modifications and switch(es) would have to be wired to accommodate the Charging Circuit.
