Started it up tonight. Put a voltage tester on it and verified the gauge is reading correctly. Took a look at the regulator. Noticed 2 of the plastic shields on the on the electrical connectors were melted, luckily the sheathing on wires wasn't effected yet.
Of the 4 wired, 3 twoard front and ground to the rear, only the front upper 2 are getting hot.
This is obviously a new problem, guess it may just be some crazy coincidence it reared it's ugly head when I replaced the coil?
Tomorrow going to remove the regulator and take a look at it.
