Strange over charging issue on my 129
So I've been working the bugs out of my 129, and it had alot. When I bought it, noticed it had an AC Delco coil on it which would get hot whenever the key was on.
Decided to buy one of the blue bosch coils that are a popular replacement. Put the coil on tonight.
Turned the key on, coil didn't get hot. Cranked it..........fired right up! Idled smoother than before. Everything seemed fine till I cracked the throttle. Runs great, but as the RPM increases, the volt gauge increases till it's pegged?
Nothing changed but the coil? Anyone experience anything like this before?
Thanks for any help, Kevin
