Houston, we have CLUTCH & BRAKES! Eat an elephant one bite at a time right???

SO, i tightened the nut on the pedal bracket (that controls the compression on the spring) and i had clutch (after tapping on it a lot and some PB Blaster to break it free...) pics show (not really well) pedal depressed and driveshaft stopped, and pedal up and drive shaft spinning....

Then apparently the all thread rod (brake adjustments under the foot pads) was just out of thread... so i removed nuts, put some spacers on the rod, reapplied nuts, and wa-la.. i have some brakes.. not enough to skid the tires, but enough to stop on flat ground...

Guys, i'm like a kid at Christmas!!!!! WHOOOO HOOOO Had to share! Gotta tweak the brakes more later, but for now, i'm pleased w/the progress!

Standby for the next topic.. most likely a little less technically.... probably a good power washing! ha!
