Bill, thank you for the link. That does give me the dimensions for the lift rod but not the dimensions for "E" in the attached diagram.
After I get some dimensions I will mock it up and definitely post some pics.

I see "E" in the attached diagram as 3-13/16", no?
3-7/8" as Maxwell measured will get you close enough.
