Thanks again for reading but the solution was found.
OK, got up from the computer, took a lazy walk to one of my sheds, opened a parts cabinet and there they were waiting for me. Not as heavy duty, new but good enough to push the tractor around on the repaired tire.
Wife thought it was funny, my being lazy after spending 1/2 hour sliding the wheel off the axle.
