I have to agree, the Ruger is a heavy revolver, a big reason I chose the single action Bisley. I will say that I always work my way up with my loads and keep within safe limits in my loading book. I'm running WIN296 with 550 primers and Hornady 158gr HP XTPs. Here's a pic of the Bisley, love the engraving on the non fluted cylinder
