Pulled the engine, found flywheel nut finger tight, blipped it with the Ingersoll. Pulled the head, sure enough guy was right-.010 stamped on jug and piston, clean, cylinder still cross hatched. Planed the head on a sheet of glass w/220 taped to it.
Deck is surprisingly nice, all spindles loose, wooden roller intact as are both wheels.
Still had an IH belt on the deck.
Looks like PTO disc, one Frankenstein bolt,, and PTO thrust button are AWOL.
Somehow the PTO bearing is in tne clutch, locking collar still on the crank.
Liking this thing more and more.
Built Feb 1969, so it is one month older than me.
