Default Talk me out of this 1872

I found this 1872 for sale about 3 hours away. I have a 1650 with a 50a deck that i use to cut about 1 1/2 acres of my rougher yard. I have a 4 digit Original that is not working, that I was going to fix up. I currently push mow that area as the 50a's blades get pretty banged up cutting mesquite trees down. So I really want to get the Original up and running just to have it going. It will take around $300, with some tires and misc parts to rehab it into a worker. The seller says the super is running mows good. It still needs some parts from the pic that suggests it hasn't had the greatest of lives. The seller only wants $300 for the super. It almost seems to good to pass up. I don't really need another 50" in deck. I wish it had a Haban, but oh well. I'd say I have another $300 or so in the 1872 to get it up to snuff too. I do not have a shed to house the O much less a super. So what can you tell me about the super from the pics. I really don't know anything about them. I do love the 1650 and it works wonderfully.
