So far tilling with the gear drive and creeper is much better imo than with the hydro. It seemed to me with the hydro, I always was going too fast, or not moving at all. With the gear drive, if you hit some hard pack, you may have to push in the clutch till it smoothes out, but when your moving it is always the same speed. That said though, I really miss the hydro lift on the tiller. Lol hopefully I can find a spring assist one of these days and bridge the gap a little bit.
