Well, I got the engine installed and running (Big thanks to Duncan10072).
When I was installing my mower deck i pushed too hard on the lift handle, and it bent, at the point where the connecting pin goes thru. Then when I was trying to install a new bolt thru the hole, I broke the lever in half. When it rains it pours.
So, 3 questions...1)where can I find a new handle (Duncan10072 is looking for one for me as well)?
2)how do you attach the handle rod to the 'yoke'? Is that supposed to be a roll pin? the pin that was in mine was a shouldered machine screw with an allen head.
If it is supposed to be a roll pin...how in the heck to you go about pounding that thing in there? Can I just use an appropriate diameter nut and bolt?
3) As I was removing things, I noticed the spool of the hydro control was able to spin. Is that supposed to spin. I have attached a pic of the part I am talking about. It is the shiny piece on top of the control.
