Per the Owners Manual, you need about 8 pints of Hy-Tran.
It is available from your local Cub Cadet or Case/IH Dealers.

My owners manual CCC 1641 calls for 7 quarts trans fluid?
I've read somewhere that Dextron III is suitable for use in the Cub hydro. Is that mis-information? I did top off the tranny with a few ounces of Dextron III and doesn't show, presently, any ill effects.
I'm planning on a fluid change and filter. A number of filters available are substitutes for a Cub filter. Any knowledge or filters anyone's used other than CCC?
My local Cub dealer makes me feel awful when I visit. Too often I've gotten the wrong part(s). Not me, the dealer is lacking something.
