Yes I put the drill on the front, which is really the back. The PTO end. Anyway because it's the back I had to use the drill in reverse.
I think I know where your head on this! No I doubled check to ensure I wasn't spinning the motor backwards. And with that when I start the engine it spins the same way and for that matter it still has the same issue with no oil just vacuum.
