My late(last 400 in production) 129 had a ported pump with the plugs. I had to replace the upper implement relief valve with another spring that is stronger and the OE spring with a cone goes into the side charge relief spot. This bumps up the pressure.

I also have a 129 with a ported pump and its an early production when the tag was still on the axle.
