I still have many Craftsman tool I purchased 40 years ago, when I was 15, most have served my needs well in my hobbies, if not it was replaced, a solid value for my use. As I aged my taste, needs and billfold changed, I have added quite a few Snap On and other higher end tools to my box. (Flex head, fine tooth ratchets are my favorite tool now!) My son became a tool freak and only buys top of the line, American made tools, (flea markets, pawn shops, craigslist, etc., old and newer). I am the lucky to benefit from his "excess" buying and he has shown the old guy a thing or two about why some are better and what has progressed in 40 years!
I am glad to see the younger generation getting their hands greasy and hope you continue turning wrenches, whatever brand they may be!
