hey guys and gals, i have a 77 1200 ql with a 44" deck. i recently purchased it for $50, it had a broke front axle. after some tlc, an axle, pulley and a belt she is up and running and kicking grass. i have a fairly large and moderately level yard. now my question is when i am cutting grass it has a tendency to pop, not like a backfire, just a pop. no smoke or anything, just a pop. now i am fairly new to cubs, but not to kohlers (my dad and i own two economy powerkings with them) and they don't do like my cub does. this lawn mower had been setting for maybe 6 months to a year, it has a new plug (the recommended one from my local shop) new gas and the oil changed. this has really got me bumfuzzled. thanks very much in advance!!!!! jeff
