I have done some searching, I know I have also been asking bunches of questions, but I have the bug I reckon. Has anyone ever made, or seen a drawbar for a cub 1450/wide frame that works like a 3 point hitch on a full size tractor ( ford 2000-4000) ? It does not have to be a 3 point system, just a drawbar about 2 foot wide, flat about 2-3 inches thick, holes spaced about every 3 inches. It would be real handy about pulling brush etc, you could raise the lift and add weight to your rear by doing this. I looked at the back of mine, I'm not sure what it would involve hooking everything up, and getting enough up and down travel to make it worth while. Here is what I have to work with as far as my cub.
By the way, I'm getting way far ahead of myself, I have lots of work to do before I can start making/buying attachments, I have to get my girl running good, and all of the motor shrouds/heat shields, I also need to remove the head and give her a good cleaning to remove the years of carbon I'm sure that is built up. I also want/need to rebuild my carb, bush my steering, wiring harness, and new fuel line ( maybe some of that fancy stainless braided stuff) when I get all of the electrical stuff right I will get enough of the black plastic wire protector ( not sure of correct term) and run it neatly by attaching screw on tie straps to route all wiring. So I'm just wondering about the drawbar for suture plans, and if anyone has any plans, pictures etc I would love to see what you have to get my brain to thinking.
