I got my cub when I first moved out on my own it was given to me by a very close friend of the family. I had it for a few years and always ran well with few issues after losing my job and moving to a smaller place I had on use for it and no place to store it. So I sold it with the mower deck and snow plow and tire chains. I told the guy I sold it to that if ever wants to sell it to give me a chance to buy back. fast forward 12 years I now have a few acres of land and a garage with a craftsman riding mower in it and I have missed my cub until yesterday. The guy I sold the cub to was a friend of a friend. he called me and was looking to sell. I dropped what I was doing dug my trailer out of the snow and blasted across town to get my cub back. I was amazed to find her in the same shape as she was when I sold her 12 long years ago. she has new front tires and even has the same battery in it. he sold it back to me for what I had sold it to him for 180 bucks... The only problem is it has no spark and the points will be my first guess and I will be working on her today. It amazed me the feelings and memories that came rushing back when I sat on her again. The close friend of the family that gave her to me had passed away a few years back from cancer. I use to mow his yard with this mower when I was about 7 years old and he gave it to me when I got my own yard. I'm just beside myself with joy to have her back I will never sell it again. lesson learned..
