It does look cleaner. I bet the PO put a seal in it and put it on 180 out. And, yes take the 2 bolt out and spin it 180. There is a little tab on one side of the pump you can look at and tell if it is on correctly. I just can't remember which side it is on tho. If no one else chimes in tonight, I will pull my tunnel cover for you in the morning and look.
