I hear that. I've got the 1864 ready with blade or blower loaded for bear and so far we've had maybe a couple inches of slushy mush almost a month ago. I start it (and the 2284) when we have a nice day and drive them for a lap or two to keep em charged up and ready but like you said, it's just not the same. A Cub without a purpose isn't much of a Cub at all!
