The big advantage to these tires are they are radials;



Once you use them, it is tough to try to get traction out of a bias tire.

I still use bias, but, mostly because I can not get radials in the right size.

I was running the 1000 with the blade, and radial ATV tires today.

The real test of a tire is traction in reverse.

The 1000 will back up a grade on sandy soil that you would expect only four wheel drive or chains could handle!!

I only run 4 psi tire pressure, the footprint of the tire is L O N G !!



I probably have 3-4 times as much tire touching the ground, compared to a bias tire,,,

Even the 2284 has VERY little contact area;



These tires are kinda like running "mini-tracks"

Just letting the air out of a bias ply tire is not the same thing, you actually loose traction with low air pressure in bias tires.
