im going to see if this tractor will start here soon. i want to know if it will run before i put too much into it. now, some if not all of the engine mount bolts are gone, you can slide the engine around with no effort. is there a grounding cable for the engine, or does it use these bolts as an engine ground? i had an old rubber mounted honda that had a grounding cable that rusted off and it grounded through the throttle cable and welded it together on the next hit of the key. i dont want that issue. the oil is clean and full. ive got to see if its got compression. looking in the spark plug hole i know the valves move. it was dark in there so i didnt see the piston, but i got my trusty flashlight some new batteries. ill run it with some carb/choke cleaner so i dont have to pull the carb and clean it to run. ill do that when i know it runs. if i get it running i may decide to keep it, see if it fights with my gravelys. so far it has one flat tire, the gravely might cause more with some yellow moving in...
