Talking New guy in Iowa

Hello everyone,

I found this site while poking around for Cub Cadet info, the site looks great! I just got out of the Marine Corps and bought my first house...and of course needed a cub cadet to mow the lawn! I grew up with a 1541 and thought that it was the greatest thing ever (nick named it the "sod rod"). I figured it was time to have my own cub. At the beginning of my search for a Cub I found a good deal on a newer 2185 that needed some repairs, before I had it finished I found a john deere 214 with a snow blower (needed a blower for the driveway)...well, the green made me sick so I sold it when I found a Cub 1811 in great condition. So here I am with 2 cubs and all of the sudden I stumble upon a 2182 Super Cub!! I can't just pass it up, and my brother in law had been bothering me about the newer 2185 cub that I had just finished up. He buys the 2185 and I am on my way to pick up a Super Cub! It is great and brings back good memories of the 1541 I had growing up, its just bigger and badder! Now, this weekend, at the expense of my wife being convinced that I have lost my mind, I will be going to pick up a 1450 Cub with a snowblower and cab! I love to tinker and restore things, mostly Mopar muscle cars with my dad, but all of the sudden I have a cub collection! I will have to let the 1450 go once I have freshend it up to offset the price of the SGT and I think my dad wants to keep the 1811, all in all im havign a great time with the cubs and should be in a Super Cub pretty cheap. I will get pics up as soon as I can.

See you all in the forums!,

p.s. I am having a difficult time finding a blower or plow for the super cub, can anyone tell me what model I will need? Would the blower from the 1450 fit the SGT?
