I have one that is off centerline like this. Its quite a bit off center (similar to your first pics). But of the three I own, its the smoothest moving hydro linkage so have been wondering if I should try to get it more centered (its apart at the moment). This balance between 'if it aint broke dont fix it', and 'take care of it while its apart'.

How well centered is yours now that its back together?
