Welcome! IH Cub Cadet#502-65457. This one woulb be an Original. Build date is 1960-1963. Next is model 70 and 100, serial # 65458-127160 and it's build date is 1963-1965. Then next up is models 71, 102,and 122, serial#127161-218009 and their build date is 1965-November of 1967. The 123 was the first ever hydrostatic-drive transmission garden tractor starting with serial#157490-218009 and it's build date started in 1966 and went through untill November of 1967 also. Then came IH Cub Cadet models 72,104,105,124,125. Serial#'s for these start at 218010-306085, and the build dates are from 11/67 to 8/69. Follows next for the IH Cub Cadet line up are models 73,106,107,126,and 127 starting with serial#307000-400000 and began production in August of 1969 and ended in August of 1971. All these tractors are called "narrow frame" and have solidmount engines. So I hope this helps with what you gave us to go on. And the last 60's IH model Cub Cadet was the 147, serial#316816-400000 and was built between November of 1967 up untill August of 1971. If you look around a bit, you'll read where to look for the serial# on your tractor.
