Got some more work done, it is slowly resembling a garden tractor again.

Quick question though, has anyone had an internal brake pad pop out. When i pulled the cover off during teardown, there was a little puck that i thought was a magnet (like in some oil pans). Turns out it is a brake pad, but i cant see how it would just squeek out of there
