Paint doesn't look too bad to me.
Someone posted that 782D down in Texas on Epay a little while ago. Now that had faded paint and looked tough. Brought $1225. Now location does make a difference.

If the hours are correct and it runs good as the owner states, then it is probably worth $1200-$1500. Now would a buyer, especially me, like to pay less, yes. But its a CC diesel and most people do research before listing stuff anymore, hence the "hard to find" comment. Market and demand drives the prices. Any other time, I see 'em listed for $2000+. There are/were a couple 782D's in Minnesota on CL for $2500 and $3000 or something like that. Did they sell? IDK. Would I buy them? NO!
