Mild hop-ups
I've been searching here and other places online. I'm wanting to add a little more power to my 127. I do only mow with it, so I don't actually NEED more power, but I'd like to add a few more horses if I could. I like tinkering and hot rodding things. But with my 127, I don't want to ruin it. I'd rather do bolt on type things that can be taken off, without trashing it.
So far, I've added an LP head. I've had this head for a good amount of time. Recently, the tractor blew the head gasket, so I figured I'd throw the LP head on since I had it apart. I thoroughly cleaned all the carbon off the top of the block (piston, valves and such). I can't necessarily feel a difference in the power, but it is more responsive, which is a plus. I still want to be able to hop on and fire it up when ever I want without it becoming a pain in the butt.
Where I live, we have "Twin City Days", which is a parade/car show/tractor show type thing. I drive my 127 there and park it with the big tractors.
A part of me wants to throw a cam in it, just for the sound of it, but I don't know enough about these small engines to do so.
With all that said, does anyone know of any "bolt on" goodies I can throw on this?
