....finally. I purchased a Nelson global from an online site that offered a decent price; they had the muffler for sale but didn't have it in stock. They offered a refund, but said it would be in later and I could wait if I wanted to. I didn't need the muffler right away so I'd opted to wait. Almost two months later
I get an email that said it was on its way.
It was important to me that it looked like an original one and fit the same way. There were some mufflers that looked similar but didn't have the end cut the same way, so I didn't want them.
The small hole was causing the front end to turn black. I also found out that it had loose baffles inside.

Overall I'm pleased with it so far. It doesn't sound much different to me, but the mrs. said she noticed that the new one was quieter. I can't really tell because I always run it wearing ear plugs.
