I guessing that is what I am going to find too. This tractor and engine has 1851 hours on the meter and I believe it. It was my grandfathers (not his 1st cub but it was the last one he owned) and I mowed a lot of grass with it. He did too. It was a good tractor so much so that when it quit running (my mom was using it) she went out and bought a used 1811.
I was hoping this 1810 could be fixed reasonably but I am not for sure now. I took the motor out today and its sitting ready to be torn down. I am waiting though until my 13 year old son comes home so he can learn a bit about small engines. Once we open it up I post what I find.
