We'll start with butt ugly. A friend needed money and I got this from him to help him out. When I got this single shot Walther .22 LR, it had a 3/4" tube scope on it and wouldn't keep the shots in a paper plate at 25 yards. I noticed the crown was a bit buggered so I took it down to my local gunshop and had my friend John look at it. He had a hand crowner but the pilot was too big. I made a smaller pilot for him and he cleaned up the crown.
What a difference a concentric chamfer made. It now holds dime size groups with standard velocity ammo at 25 yards. I put a 10X steel tube Weaver scope on it and it shoots great
