I'm sure it will work, but I wouldn't. Spindle speed is pretty high. Better off/ safer using the right stuff. I don't use el-cheapo grease. (or general purpose) Hi-temp only for me. Doesn't break down and turn to oil in the summer. Gp is fine for like the front steering, and axle, but really shouldn't be used in the spindles. Think of them as wheel bearings. Would you put GP grease in a wheel bearing? Again, not going to make a stink/argue. But to me, it's kind of the same argument as oil viscosity in the motor.
