but I've got a question regarding a muffler for my 147.
I need a new one. I've done a search

it cross references to the IH-393840-R91 sold by CCC/MTD. Why I'm leaning towards this one: it doesn't seem like a cheap/inexpensive one (which I don't want), it isn't as expensive as the MTD one, and is silver with the angular cut tip (which is important.)
Does anyone have any feedback, good or bad, about the one I have linked to amazon?
