Default Should I buy an older Cub?

New here, looking for some input. My garden keeps expanding(two 75x100 beds right now and more to come if can work it with a machine). I'm wanting to start working it with a garden tractor. I would also like to be able to use a back blade or box blade for some minor leveling work.
I have a Cub Cadet LT1050. I know I can buy an electric sleeve hitch for it. I also believe I can adapt an MTD manual hitch to fit it. Worst case scenario, I can build one from scratch. My main uses would be; bottom plow, disk, cultivator and blade.
Would my Cub be sufficient for this work or would I be better off to buy a true Cub garden tractor? I would like to be able to use the same machine for mowing and gardening.

Thanks for any advice
