I MIGHT get around to swapping my front axle out this weekend for one that will accept grease (long story and the replacement was free) and replace all my highly suspect rod ends.

On my CC149. I used. steel ball joint rod ends, with a self lubricating insert, on the steering arm and the drag link. They are also available with a grease zerk. I also intalled a super steer kit and with tri-ribs on the front it is like I have power steering. I bought the rod ends from McMaster-Carr. As for the tow, I use 1/8".
