I just picked up a cub cadet 1641 today. Has 800 some hours on it. The lady I got it from said it wouldn't run but I got it to start while I was there. Ran nice and smooth but kept on dying after 7 or 8 seconds. I'm guessing maybe its a fuel issue? Not exactly sure. But it comes with a new battery which was a huge plus. My biggest reason for buying it was the category 0 three point hitch fastened to the back of it. I'm wondering if I should just slap the cat 0 on the 782 with loader and sell the 1641 or put the loader on the 1641.

Any thoughts? I know allot of people love those vanguard motors. The one in the 1440 we have ran great but the tractor just sits now outback in the hedgerow.

I'll try to get some pics when I get to my shop later this week. How many have a 1641 and how many like them? Not sure how I feel about the plastic though...
