Well, I just ordered yet another toy I'll get to use on this project and hopefully, many others. I've been wanting some kind of tach around the shop for a while now for obvious reasons, and I finally decided to pull the trigger. I looked around a bit and came up with this guy:

It's a Hardline Products HR-8061-2, it does engine hours, RPM, and reminders you can set for service intervals (change oil, spark plugs, etc). The price was right and it had overall positive reviews so against my bank accounts' better judgement, I pulled the trigger
It will be in Saturday so I hope to install it and get the idle set on this Cub. I'll be sure to post pics but I'm not sure if I'm going to leave it installed or just use it to set the RPM and then take it off since I don't REALLY need to know my RPM constantly. Then again, it would be pretty cool to have it on there
