Thanks Guys. Soooo had some time today and thought I'd work on the tractor. Needed to replace the exhaust manifold and stack. ( I'll post a new thread with Pics) But as luck would have it as I'm down under working out the lower manifold bolts I see that one of the barrel connectors on the generator wires is just barely connected. So I redid the connections with shrink and the charging problem solved.
