A 1650 can be a really nice machine. Get your motor mounts in good shape, doublecheck all the driveshaft couplers, keep good HYtrans in it and do all the regular greasing, adjusting, etc recommended in the manuals and it should be a bulletproof unit. Also if nobody has gone thru the steering that is another area to inspect closely, from the box to the tie rod ends to the front axle pivot pin.
