Yes, you are correct.....
The trans top shaft, and some of the linkage is specific to Cub Cadet. But the rear bearing flange off the F-Cub needs an area machined to accommodate the fill hole on the CC diff cover. Most of the linkage can be made. The real problem is the trans top shaft. It is pretty hard to find item.
