I was reassembling the pto for my 149 and I can't get it to adjust down properly. The springs between the pressure plates compress completely preventing the adjustment. I think I remember it having two clutch discs but I'm not 100% sure (too many tractors). I came across a pto recently with two discs. This raises my question. Is this a way to solve my problem and allow me to adjust? I'm not familiar with this or if it is common practice. BTW, when the springs become totally compressed the adjusting tool is about a disc thickness away from correct adjustment.
