I am not understanding this jet issue. Are you taking about the fuel shut off valves. Any ones I have ever changed come with a viton tip and they are matched to the seat that threads into the base of the carb. Changing them in a pair you should have no issue unless the float needs to be reset with the new parts installed. With the carb held upside down the float should be parallel with the base. If it's not that might be the fuel not shutting off issue.
