OK we need to call an expert in or a reasonable facsimile .

Help !!

I know of the lever your talking about , It should have two notches one to remove belt the other is a gauge to replace belt., in between those notches the tension should be adjusted so pulleys are inline with the PTO

belt should run as streight as possible as not to prematuurely whare out
