Hey guys. If you read any of my past posts I bought a QL 1450 with no compression. I tore the motor down this weekend. I thought all was good. Bore block per your suggestions. I was looking at it closer yesterday and noticed these two chunks out of the bottom of the cyl wall.

So is this block usable still? I really hope it is. Just bore it and go or hone and go. I did find out the piston was a +.010 after i wire brushed the top and it had those marking on it. .010.

The notches/ chunks are rough like broken cast would be. One is little more polished, i think from the con rod rubbing it after it broke.
