thank you for the reply. i shall have picts. up tommrow afternoon. i've been monkeying with the gov. i was not thinking and removed the gov.arm to paint. the kohler manual does not say at all how to set the throttle bracket so it stays mounted allowing my throttle wire to operate the speed control disk. i also have the blue ribbon for thie motor and it is about as dry as reading the dictionary.i'am making good progress on trying to figure it out. i love these old tractors.
