Thanks for the feedback gentlemen. I'm sure the Cub spring mount wouldn't work for exactly the reasons jonjunk pointed out. I thought about the "puller" pans and covering in a hand tooled leather, as I do chopper seats as a side business, and have everything I'd need material wise

I also work for a company that makes outdoor furniture cushions, so maybe I could emulate the old John Deere B model seat style, only smaller, and cover in vinyl?
