The early ones had a cast rear, while at serial number 720000, they switched to a aluminum rear. If you put a sleeve hitch on a aluminum rear, you'll pull the blots for the lower plate off.

Now the 1282 and 582 use the same lift bar. The 782 and the 682 use a different lift bar. The yokes are all the same. The difference between the 1282 and the 582 sleeve hitches are just that the 582 uses a adapter plate for the yoke, where the 1282's yoke will bolt straight to the frame.

The 1282 lift bar has 2 bends in it, while the 782/682 lift bar is straight.
